Alberta Genealogical Society’s webinar — Comparing digitized Quebec parish records

The Alberta Genealogical Society Edmonton Branch’s French special interest group will host the virtual presentation, A comparison of the digitization of Quebec parish registers (1634-1940), on Tuesday, April 2, from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. Mountain time.

The presentation appears to be free and open to all who register.

During this meeting Jean-Yves Vanier-Verbeek will present (in English) a comparison of the digitization of parish registers in Quebec (1634-1940) in various online research tools, including Genealogy Quebec, Ancestry, Family Search and the Bibliothèque et Archives nationales du Québec.

The French SIG is a collaboration between the Alberta Genealogical Society Edmonton Branch and the Société généalogique du Nord-Ouest where sessions in English are scheduled on Zoom for special presentations and discussions on researching French ancestors from North America to Europe.
