Ontario Ancestors’ free virtual presentations this week feature ‘great moments’ and researching ancestors who served in the RCAF

As Ontario Ancestors and its branches wind down for the holidays, it appears there are only two branches holding virtual presentations this week.

Monday, November 25, 7:30 p.m. — Toronto Branch

Nine branch members will each present a “great moment” in their family history research.

      • Bev MacCulloch: “The Ancestor in Box #3”
      • Bonnie Bell: “A man from Deeside, a 30-year search to account for his disappearance”
      • Doug Stephen: “Searching for Gramma’s Birth Parents, Discovering a Whole Family”
      • Eileen MacDonald: “The Accidental Bigamist”
      • Georgie Kennedy: “The missing uncle”
      • Linda Reid: “There was more: An 18th century memorial links two generations
      • Marian Press: “The Sad Lonely Death of Charles Henry Farrington… It pays to read the whole record”
      • Michael Nettleton: “Braiding Connections”
      • Valerie O’Brien: “Family Legends and the Flying Scotsman”

This is a hybrid meeting. You may attend in person at Lansing United Church and enjoy the festive treats or register to watch online.

Tuesday, November 26, 7:00 p.m. — Wellington County Branch
