The announcements from Legacy Family Tree Webinars continue to come, and the news gets better each time. My brain explodes at the thought of all these free learning opportunities.
Yesterday, Legacy Family Tree Webinars and MyHeritage announced the 2019 line-up of more than 100 classes.
For the first time, they will also host live webinars in languages other than English: Swedish, French, Spanish, Norwegian, Danish and Finnish. These classes have yet to be announced.
For the second year, Legacy Family Tree Webinars will host the MyHeritage webinar series where viewers will learn about matching technology, and get insights into old photos, and city directories. These classes will be announced soon.
Also to be announced are the “Member Friday” classes where subscribers will enjoy a bonus pre-recorded webinar.
In addition to hosting the MyHeritage and monthly BCG webinars series, Legacy Family Tree Webinars will broadcast DNA webinars the first Wednesday of each month, a places/ethnicity topic the third Wednesday of the month, technology topics on the four Wednesday and methodology topics the last Friday of each month. These new themed webinars join the previously announced new Down Under series.
The webinar brochure provides an overview of the full schedule to date and it can be shared and printed.
Canadian webinars
In July, there are two Canadian topics presented by American genealogists who likely have ancestors who lived above the 49th parallel: Prince Edward Island Repositories and Records by Melanie McComb and Research Your Newfoundland Ancestors by Tessa Keough.
You can register for all of the webinars at once or a few or one at a time. You will receive a reminder email both one day and two hours prior to the live event. The webinars are usually recorded and made available to watch for free for up to seven days afterward. Almost every webinar includes a handout for Legacy Family Tree Webinar subscribers.
