To mark the 35th anniversary of the Centre de conservation du Québec (Quebec Conservation Centre), the Bibliothèque et Archives nationales du Québec (BAnQ) will hold an open house about conservation on Friday, October 17, from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m.
The open house actually begins in the morning with a series of lectures that are open to the public, but it is the afternoon program of tours and workshops that may interest genealogists. Restorers and museology technicians will explain how to preserve your archives and answer questions.
Admission is free, but registration is required. The day’s activities are presented in French.
