Herbert Molson house

According to the youngest member of my family, I talk about the historical and architectural importance of every building I pass in Montreal. Not true, but I do like to learn as much as I can about these beautiful buildings.

The Montreal Times has helped me add a new building to the “tour” I give to my out-of-town guests. This week, the newspaper published an article about Herbert Percival Molson of the Molson brewery family and his home. It is nice to learn that the home remains standing in good condition on avenue du Musée. It now houses the Russian Consulate.
