Nova Scotia Archives yesterday added 25,869 records to its online vital statistics collection.
This year’s additions include 13,614 births for 1923, 5,205 marriages for 1948, and 7,050 deaths for 1973.
The birth records include some “delayed” entries for individuals born in 1917 or earlier, but not registered until a later date.
