The Société généalogique du Nord-Ouest in Edmonton will this evening, April 24, at 7:00 p.m. Mountain time, host a free hybrid meeting as part of its Métis Project.
Sheila Genaille will deliver the presentation, Finding Indigenous Ancestors. She’ll provide an historical overview of the Métis Nation and highlight some primary sources and internet sources, as well as Indigenous languages.
