The presentation is about Upper Canada Land Petitions – More Than Just Land Acquisition, and it will be delivered by Debra Honor, UE.
This topic focuses on how to use the Upper Canada Land Petitions to a genealogist’s advantage. The presentation will cover:

- An explanation of the Land Petitions history
- How to use the Land Petitions on the Library and Archives Canada website and find the documents faster the next time
- What advantages are there for the early records of the families
- Recognition that they are not just for Loyalist applications.
Several examples from different families will be used to prove the usefulness of these documents.
