The Ontario Genealogical Society (OGS) kicked off the new year by launching its 2019 conference website that includes the full schedule of workshops and presentations, speakers’ biographies, and tours.
OGS’ annual conference will be held at the London Convention Centre in London, Ontario, from June 21 to 23, 2019.
The conference website looks terrific and it is very easy to navigate.
Genealogists will like how the full program can be seen on one page, and one click of the mouse takes you to the description of a workshop or presentation. There appears to be something in the program for everyone. The majority of the speakers are Canadian with others from the United States, England, and the Netherlands. A PDF of the conference schedule can be downloaded and printed onto one page.
The banquet speaker is still to be announced.
The conference website works well on a smartphone, which will be handy for delegates at the conference.
It appears the only section to be added is the marketplace, which will likely happen within the next couple of months.
OGS says registration will open shortly.
Kudos to the organizing team and webmaster for putting together one of the best-looking genealogy conference websites.
