For genealogists who are going through withdrawal since the American season of Who Do You Think You Are? ended, the British version on YouTube may provide some solace. In fact, I have found several of the BBC episodes to have more substance than the American program. Or perhaps it is just a case of me selecting which ones to watch.
Even if you don’t recognize all of the celebrities in the BBC episodes, it doesn’t matter. The stories make up for it.

While BBC does not make the WDYTYA? program available on its YouTube channel, a search for Who Do You Think You Are BBC in the YouTube search box produces several good episodes.
The BBC program features celebrities, such as Alan Cumming, Annie Lennox, Stephen Fry, Jerry Hall, Robin Gibb, and one of my personal favourites, Graham Norton, who visited Ireland.
For those who have technical skills that make it possible to watch the new seasons in North America, the 15th season of Who Do You Think You Are? on BBC starts July 9.
Gail, Thanks for the heads up on the Graham Norton feature. We enjoy his show each Fri night in Auckland. K
