Our Soldiers’ Stories – Authors Tim Cook and Jane Cooper speak in Ottawa

Spend an evening with two authors, historian Tim Cook and researcher Jane Cooper, Thursday evening, November 9, in Ottawa.

Mr. Cook will read from the second volume of his series on Canadians in the Second World War, Fight to the Finish, and also discuss both his work and his most recent title, Vimy: The Battle and the Legend.

Ms. Cooper, author of Private Sully Goes to War: An Eastern Ontario Boy Writes to His Girl from the Trenches in World War One, will read from her book and discuss the primary source letters and photographs from World War One that make up this book.

Register to attend with your Ottawa Public Library card here, or use the Eventbrite link if you do not have a card.

If unable to attend, you can watch Military historian Tim Cook’s Vimy lecture on YouTube, delivered at the Canadian War Museum in March.
