To mark Family History Month and American Archives Month in the US and Family Month in Ontario, at least three genealogy bloggers are writing daily throughout October to share their knowledge and tips with us.
While the 31 Days initiative is not promoted as a challenge, perhaps other bloggers would like to join them. If you’re a genealogy blogger, you definitely have lots to share with other genealogists.
If not this month, perhaps another. For example, you may want to begin 2017 with 31 Days to a Better Genealogy Year.
Genealogy bloggers to follow
This month, Christine Woodcock from Ontario is writing about Scottish research on her blog, Scottish Genealogy Tips and Tidbits.
Amy Johnson Crow from Ohio offers 31 Days to Better Genealogy, a free series of emails designed to give you practical steps to make your research more productive.
Melissa Barker from Tennessee is writing 31 Days of Tips from The Archive Lady on her blog, A Genealogist In The Archives.
It is only October 3, and I am already learning lots from these experts.
It’s not too late to follow these genealogists, and it’s not too late to think about starting your own 31 Days series of blog posts.
Thanks for the shout-out, Gail! I’m learning from the others as well!
