Webinar – WWI dispatches from the front

The National Archives will offer a free webinar, Dispatches from the front, on how to track down citations for honours, awards and mentions in dispatches for British military service during the First World War. The webinar will also cover an explanation of the Medal Roll Index Cards and look at how to use sources in TNA’s collections and elsewhere to learn more about the circumstances of an award.

The webinar takes place Monday, March 21, at 9:00 a.m. Eastern time. Register here.

* Update: It appears the virtual classroom is full. You can no longer register.

I received your blog email today about the webinar “WW1 Dispatches from the front” but when I went to register, the website stated it was “unavailable”. Thanks.

That’s disappointing. I bet the “room” is full. When I posted the item, you could still register. I will revise the blog post. Thanks for letting me know.
