“The Home Archivist” to speak in Kingston Saturday

The Home Archivist Jessica Dunkin will speak about the steps she has taken to preserve and organize a private collection of 19th-century letters at the Ontario Genealogical Society Kingston Branch’s monthly meeting on Saturday, May 16.

Ms. Dunkin holds an MA and PhD in history, and is a postdoctoral fellow in the School of Kinesiology and Health Studies at Queen’s University. In her blog, The Home Archivist, she writes about her experiences with conserving the letters.

The meeting will take place at 10:00 a.m. in the Frontenac Room at the Seniors Centre, 56 Francis Street, Kingston. More information is available on the branch’s website.
