Archivist Michel Prévost was awarded an honourary doctorate during last week’s graduation ceremony at Saint-Paul University in Ottawa.
The university wrote: “For over 35 years, Michel Prévost has been actively involved in preserving and promoting the intangible, archival and built cultural heritage of Ottawa, the Outaouais region and Eastern Ontario. As chief archivist of the University of Ottawa since 1990 and president of the Société d’histoire de l’Outaouais since 1997, he seizes every opportunity to educate policy makers and the general public about the importance of protecting our heritage, particularly our religious heritage.”
Thanks to the Fédération Histoire Québec for promoting this.
