The British Isles Family History Society of Greater Ottawa (BIFHSGO) in Ontario has announced the dates and theme for its 21st annual conference next year.
The conference will take place at Library and Archives Canada from September 18 to 20, 2015, and it will have three themes: Scotland, Photographs in Genealogy, and Technology (includes hardware, software, apps, websites, social media, and DNA analysis tools).
Call for speakers
BIFHSGO has also issued a call for speakers on the three themes for lectures on the Saturday and Sunday as well as for workshops or seminars on the Friday. Proposal submission details are available on BIFHSGO’s website. The submission deadline is January 31, 2015.
