The Vancouver Public Library (VPL) has posted more than 30,000 historical photos online of British Columbia and the Yukon, and the number will increase as the library staff members continue to scan and upload photos from the collection of more than 200,000 photos and negatives.
The digitized collection is searchable by keyword or collection. One collection worth noting is the Mattie Gunterman Collection that captures carly pioneer life in the British Columbia Interior.
