It is worth taking a look at the French Canadian Heritage Society of Michigan’s website where they have posted presentation handouts, articles, and research guides that will help genealogists with their research.
Handouts from last Saturday’s presentation about researching Carignan soldiers and the Drouin and Jetté collections are now available. The research guides, French-Canadian Genealogy: Sources and Resources and Researching Parish Records in Michigan, are also worth a review, along with the article, Evaluating Secondary Sources for French-Canadian History.
