Canada’s Great War Album website launched

Canada’s History has launched the Canada’s Great War Album website, based on the book by the same name. The book is a collection of Canadian photographs, memorabilia, and stories of the war, and the website follows suit with sections, About the Great War, Key Battles, Video, Submit Your Story, and, of course, Buy the Book.

There are many profiles of soldiers among the stories on the website. I entered Quebec in the search box and found 31 results. Ontario brought me 119 results and I found 28 for Alberta. Entering the names of key battles also provided many results.

As usual, I entered Dever, and much to my surprise, I found a short profile about my great-uncle John Melody Dever and six photos, submitted by his granddaughter, who is my cousin.
