Lennox & Addington County Museum & Archives reopens

Elizabeth Lapointe on her Genealogy Canada blog wrote yesterday about the reopening of the Lennox & Addington County Museum & Archives in Napanee, Ontario, west of Kingston. The Museum & Archives has completed a major expansion that consists of a new addition that features a large research room and archival storage, and enhanced display areas.

I learned this morning on the Ontario Genealogical Society (OGS) blog that we can learn more about this Museum & Archives during a presentation by Jane Foster and Shelley Respondek at the October 18 meeting of the Kingston Branch OGS. The meeting takes place on Saturday, October 18, at 10:00 a.m. at the Kingston Frontenac Public Library, 130 Johnson Street, Kingston. Contact info: http://www.ogs.on.ca/kingston.
