Findmypast offers one-month introductory subscription for $1

FindMyPast logoFindmypast is offering a one-month World subscription to first-time subscribers for just $1. (I tried to take advantage, but I am a previous subscriber.) It is promoted as a special offer for Irish Central visitors, but it appears anyone signing up for the first time can subscribe. (Irish Central is an online news website.)

There is no indication as to how long this offer will last.

Note that after the initial 30-day period, your subscription will automatically renew at the normal price of $19.95 unless you un-tick the “auto-renew my subscription” box in the My Account section of the site.

These are the other Terms and Conditions of the $1 subscription:

  • In taking up this offer, you consent to a cookie being placed on your machine. The one month World subscription for $1 offer is restricted to one offer per individual, where it is assumed that each individual has their own individual device and their own individual email address.
  • This offer is for one time use per individual. Where more than one individual shares a computer and/or an email address, only one individual will be able to take up the free subscription offer.

Learn more about the special offer here.

Hi Gail, Thanks for mentioning this. I had a previous subscription, but I was able to sign up for this deal. Now I just have to make sure I use it!
