Free access to the 1921 England and Wales census and more on Ancestry until March 9

To celebrate Women’s History Month, Ancestry is offering free access until March 9 to the 1921 England and Wales census, along with what could be specific English collections and perhaps some Canadian collections. It’s not clear (to me) what is available — but it is certainly worth setting up a free account to explore.

On the Ancestry.ca Facebook page, Ancestry wrote, “During Women’s History Month, we celebrate the pioneering women who paved the way for us. How much do you know about the inspiring women from your family? Discover the stories of strength and survival in your family tree with Free Access to the 1921 Census of England and Wales, the 1931 Census of Canada, and millions more records, from 1st March until 9th March.”

Bottom line: If you’re not already a subscriber, give this free-access opportunity a try. You never know what you’ll find.
