The Canadian e-Special Interest Group of the Genealogical Society of Collier County in Florida will host the free virtual presentation, Canadian Genealogical Research Using the FamilySearch Canadian Wiki, on Tuesday, February 25, at 2:oo p.m. Eastern time. It will be delivered by the society’s president, Marie Overman.
The FamilySearch Research Wiki is a free, online genealogical guide created by FamilySearch, a non-profit organization. The Canadian Wiki is a specialized section of this invaluable resource. It offers links, databases, websites, and strategies tailored specifically for Canadian-American genealogists, focusing on Canadian provinces, towns, and migration patterns provides insights and information often buried deep within the Internet.

At the Canadian eSIG’s last meeting in January, they had a record number of registrants, with 45 percent of them watching from seven provinces in Canada and 55 percent from 19 states in the US.
