Genealogical Association of Nova Scotia announces dates of virtual conference and issues call for speakers

Good news arrived yesterday from the Genealogical Association of Nova Scotia. Their 2025 conference will be held May 3 to 4, and it will be virtual.

The association also issued a call for speakers for the conference. They are looking for presentations on Nova Scotian family history stories, record collections, research techniques, or a DNA story.

The presentation should last from 20 to 30 minutes, and its will be delivered via Zoom. It can be delivered live or pre-recorded. Speakers will receive $50 and free access to the conference.

The submission deadline is November 1, 2024. The submission form is available online.

Further conference details will be released later this year.
