Free access to Findmypast’s records and newspapers until June 10

From today until June 10 at 5:00 a.m. Eastern time, Findmypast is making millions of its family history records and newspapers free to access to mark the 80th anniversary of D-Day.

If I’ve correctly understood the promotion, it appears that all records on Findmypast will be free to access for all signed-in users, not just military records, with the exception of the 1921 Census of England and Wales and Tree Search. If you don’t already a free account, simply sign up for one.

Findmypast maintains the largest collection of British and Irish newspapers online, digitized in partnership with the British Library.
