FamilySearch recently indexed 79,535 records in the Quebec Catholic Parish Registers, 1621-1979 collection. These records can be searched by name and location.
While most of these images are in French, the index is in English, French or any other language you choose. Just click on the globe on the top-right of the screen to select a language.
There are almost 1.4 million records in the entire collection, and they can be browsed by parish. You’ll find images of Catholic parish registers of baptisms, marriages and burials. The collection also includes some confirmations and index entries for Montreal and Trois-Rivières.
