MyHeritage and Legacy Family Tree Webinars announced yesterday that registration is now open for its 2024 Legacy Family Tree Webinars series, now in its 14th year.
The new year will feature 168 classes and 112 speakers from 14 countries. It will include two brand new series, Artificial Intelligence for Genealogists and England Counties Research. And for the second straight year, Elizabeth Shown Mills returns for the members-only series, “The Best of Elizabeth Shown Mills: Genealogy Problem Solving.”
In addition to the weekly Webinar Wednesdays, they will continue to offer other classes including:
- The webinar series for the Board for Certification of Genealogists
- The webinar series for MyHeritage — one webinar is in French
- The Down Under series for genealogists in Australia and New Zealand, in their time zone
- The African Diaspora series geared towards African-ancestored people in the U.S. and around the world
- The O Canada series which focuses on the broad range of ancestries found in Canada
- The Mexico Research series geared toward Mexican-ancestored people in the US and around the world
- Artificial Intelligence — How will AI help us find our ancestors?
- The England Counties Research series
- The 5th annual 24-Hour Genealogy Webinar Marathon, April 11-12. More than 55,000 registered for last year’s event
- The 4th annual Webtember event — a genealogy conference every Friday in September
- Webinar Shorts — when you have just a few minutes, but want to learn genealogy – a membership benefit
- TechZone — build your tech skills in 10 minutes or less — a membership benefit
- The Best of Elizabeth Shown Mills — join each month as Elizabeth teaches how to break down genealogy problems — a membership benefit
