One-Place Study by Lianne Kruger

My Irish family came to Canada in 1841 to a small town in Quebec. My family did not speak French and they were not Roman Catholic, so why Quebec? To figure this out, I began a one-place study. I wanted to know if there was other family who came before or after, as well as the history of the area. This session lays out where to find resources on how to do a one-place study, what to do, how to store your research, and where to store the results to share with family and others. Register to watch online.
