The New England Historic Genealogical Society will host a five-part online course, called Researching Atlantic Canadian Ancestors, every Wednesday evening in August.

The course will be broadcast live from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. August 2, 9, 16, 23, and 30. It includes five 90-minute classes, exclusive access to handouts and recordings of each presentation, and in-depth Q&A sessions with the instructor.

Presenters Judith Lucey, David Allen Lambert, Rhonda R. McClure and Melanie McComb will talk about census and census substitutes, church records, immigration, and land records.

The fee is US$125, or about CDN$165. Members save 10 percent. Learn more and register on the society’s website.
