Learn about researching Irish ancestors, including those who migrated to Quebec, on Clare Roots Society’s YouTube channel

While going down the research rabbit hole yesterday, I discovered the Clare Roots Society’s YouTube channel with more than two dozen videos.

The videos include presentations on Researching Workhouse Ancestors during the Famine by Eamon Healy, Famine Migration to Quebec, Canada by Mary-Alice Wildasin, The Registry of Deeds and Its Records by Sean J. Murphy, and Finding Social History in Church Records by Fiona Fitzsimons.

The Clare Roots Society was formed in 2006 as an amateur family history, genealogy and heritage group in County Clare, Ireland.
