Legacy Family Tree Webinars is now welcoming webinar submissions for its 2023 webinar series.
All speakers are welcome to submit.
There are three types of submissions for classes:
- 60 minutes plus Q&A, or
- 10-minutes-or-under Webinar Shorts, or
- 10-minutes-or-under TechZone videos.
Indicate the type of class in your proposal.
An example of a Webinar Short is How a City Directory Worked for Me Again (8 minutes), and an example of a TechZone video is Organize Your Digital Files in 3 Easy Steps (8 minutes)
Legacy Family Tree Webinars is looking for topics covering Africa and African-American, Asia, counties in the United Kingdom, South America, Canada, Europe, Mexico, US states, Down Under, DNA (especially “how-I-found-these-parents-using-DNA case studies”), technology, preservation, historical events and records, the FAN club, and methodological case studies. These topics are especially encouraged, but all topics are welcome.
Titles with numbers like “Top 5 Secrets to Researching in __…” turn out to be very popular.
Check the library at www.FamilyTreeWebinars.com to see which topics have been previously done.
Speakers receive remuneration of $200 per webinar (for 60 minute webinars) or $50 for Webinar Shorts and TechZone videos, plus monthly viewership royalties.
Proposals can be submitted at https://familytreewebinars.com/submit-a-speaking-proposal. If you have previously submitted a topic that has not yet been used, Legacy Family Tree Webinars still has it on file, so no need to resubmit.
The submission deadline is September 4, 2022.
