On Canada Day, FamilySearch published a blog post about two long-time Ontario Genealogical Society members, Steve and Dianna Fulton.
The Fultons are a busy family history couple. They say their mission in life is to help others discover their own family connections.
Steve has been a member of the society since 2008, including branch chair of the Niagara Peninsula Branch since 2009. In addition to serving as vice-president of the society from 2016 to 2018, he was the society president from 2018 to 2020. Steve is also the “tech guy,” the head of the Technological Support and Innovation committee for the society.
Dianna has also been a long-time volunteer with the Niagara Peninsula Branch and has served as the board-branch liaison. She is chair of the British Home Child special interest group, was co-chair for the 2019 conference of the society, and was co-chair of the conference in 2018.
It’s because of the many volunteers like Steve and Dianna that we’re able to research and learn about our own family history.
