To celebrate Queen Elizabeth II’s Platinum Jubilee, Findmypast is offering free access to the 53.5million pages in its British and Irish newspaper collections until Monday, June 6, 10:00 British Standard Time.
The Ontario newspapers The Hamilton Daily Times, Toronto Daily Mail, and Toronto Saturday Night are also included. Look for them in the British Newspapers collection, and search for Canada in the By Place filter.
To view Findmypast’s newspaper archives for free this week, you need to sign up or log in if you’ve already got an account. You’ll be able to access all newspapers, normally included in a top-level paid subscription.
