The Toronto Branch of the Ontario Genealogical Society will hold a special four-session virtual lecture series beginning next week. In Uncovering Unusual Lives, four seasoned researchers explore the stories of intriguing and uncooperative subjects. They’ll talk about the sources they used and how they found their way around twists and turns and roadblocks (sometimes deliberately set).
In its announcement about theseries, the branch said, “Four good stories, well told. And maybe some inspiration to help you with your own mystifying research problems.”
Each session will consist of an hour-long presentation and an opportunity to ask questions.
The registration fee for all four sessions is $20 for society members and $25 for non-members.
The sessions will be recorded so registrants can watch it afterward.
