Public libraries announce free at-home access to Ancestry has been extended again

One of the few good things to happen during the current pandemic is free at-home access to Ancestry from public libraries, and apparently it will continue a while longer.

Some libraries, including the Hamilton Public Library in Ontario and a couple of American libraries, have told their card holders that free remote access to Ancestry Library has been extended to September 30.

If you live in Ontario, you can apply for a free Brampton Public Library card that will give you access to Ancestry, plus the Toronto Star and Globe and Mail archives. The card is good for one year.
