Alberta Genealogical Society hosting GenFair 2021 tomorrow

There’s still time to register for the Alberta Genealogical Society’s free GenFair 2021, provided you do so before this evening.

GenFair 2021 takes place Saturday, April 24, from 12:30 to 3:30 p.m. Mountain time, followed by the society’s annual general meeting.

There are three presentations:

What’s in a Name? Discover how this region of Canada was settled and why Wetaskiwin was known as “Siding 16” – Dr. Karen Aberle, PhD

Finding Richard The search for an unknown gentleman only known as Dick — Sandi Ratch, MA, Heritage Consultant

The Legacy You Leave Things to tell your grandchildren — Claudia Malloch, Family History Consultant

Despite what the website says, you can still register today, but don’t leave it too late.
