Historical society offers guided tours of Île-Bizard and Sainte-Geneviève

The Société patrimoine et histoire de l’Île-Bizard et de Sainte-Geneviève (Heritage and Historical Society of Île-Bizard and Sainte-Geneviève) on the western end of the island of Montreal offers free two-hour tours of heritage buildings in the villages of Île-Bizard and Sainte-Geneviève.

The tour of Île-Bizard takes place Saturday, July 5, at 2:00 p.m.

The tour of Sainte-Geneviève takes place on Saturday, July 26, at 2:00 p.m. Participants will gather in the Sainte-Geneviève church parking lot at 16037 Gouin Blvd. West.

Reserve your place for these tours by calling 514-620-6271. The tours will likely be conducted in French.

A list of 10 heritage homes in Sainte-Geneviève appears in the community newspaper, Cités Nouvelles. I suspect some, if not all, of these homes will be part of the tour.

The society’s website is available here.
