New American record collections on FamilySearch this week

FamilySearch has added two new record collections for the United States and expanded a number of other collections.

The new collections are:

Indiana, World War II Draft Registration Cards, 1940-1947 899,360 records.

Iowa, Marriage Records, 1941-1951 249,115 records.

FamilySearch now describes “updated” collections as “expanded,” which is probably more accurate. See the full list of new and expanded collections in this news release.
