Starting October 19, the University of Strathclyde is offering its free, six-week, online genealogy course, Researching Your Family Tree.

The course is intended to help people at the beginner to intermediate level develop an understanding of basic genealogy techniques. You’ll consider how to effectively find and analyze sources and explore the potential of DNA testing as applied to genealogy. They do not concentrate on a specific country’s records so it should be useful to anyone around the world.
