Kathryn Lake Hogan will talk online Thursday afternoon about what’s available on the Canadiana website.
Canadiana has more than 41 million pages of primary source documents, but it’s not the easiest to search if you don’t know what to look for. This webinar should help remove some of the mystery.
The items to be covered include:
- getting prepared to search
- the three categories of materials on Canadiana.org
- targetted keyword search
- maps
- directories
- newspapers
- lists, lists, and more lists – militia, voters, civil service
- publications
The webinar will begin at 1:00 p.m. Eastern time on Thursday, July 30. Registration is required to watch.
For those unable to watch the live webinar, Kathryn Lake Hogan said, “All of my webinars are recorded. They are available for free for 48 hours after I post to my YouTube channel. The best way to get notified of my webinars and the replays is to sign up for my newsletter on my website Looking4Ancestors.com.”
