My Mobile Plains (of Abraham) app launched

The National Battlefields Commission yesterday launched My Mobile Plains at the Discovery Pavilion of the Plains of Abraham. My Mobile Plains is an app that is described in detail in the news release:

“The new free mobile app, available in both English and French for multiple platforms, brings together technology and history to enhance the park user experience. Of particular note is the information-rich interactive map of the park featuring close to 200 points of interest. Clicking on these points brings users to a range of augmented reality features, games, videos, stories, and a wealth of photographs—content that will be updated on a continuous basis.”

Fascinating, Gail. For a moment there, I thought it was YOUR design/invention, and I was thinking “Wow – great idea!”…. Of course, it’s still a great idea, and when I get back there I’ll be using it I’m sure!
