Prompts to help you write about ’52 Ancestors in 52 Weeks’

If one of your goals for 2020 is to start writing about your family history, Amy Johnson Crow’s 52 Ancestors in 52 Weeks series of weekly prompts may help.

The objective of 52 Ancestors is to develop the habit of writing your family history discoveries and getting them into a format that can be shared — without feeling frustrated and overwhelmed.

You can write, blog, email cousins, Instagram, scrapbook, make a copy of a photo and write (in pencil) on the back, make a video, or anything that works for you.

To receive the free series of weekly writing prompts by email, click on the button at the bottom of the 52 Ancestors in 52 Weeks page.

Listen to Maureen Taylor’s interview with Ms. Johnson Crow to learn more about writing in “manageable bites.”
