Ontario Ancestors (Ontario Genealogical Society) is now accepting proposals for its monthly 2020 webinar series, held the first Thursday of every month.
Topics of interest
Ontario Ancestors invites proposals on a wide range of topics. It is worth noting the top five subjects voted on in the 2020 webinar survey are:
• DNA – intermediate and advanced
• Research in a country of origin, i.e., England, Scotland, Ireland, Germany, France
• Research methodology and procedures
• Technology and tools
• Training on genealogy websites, i.e., Ancestry, FamilySearch
Selected speakers will receive an honorarium and must be prepared to provide Ontario and/or Canadian specific examples in their presentations.
Speakers may submit up to three proposals for consideration. All submissions will be reviewed, but only those who are chosen will be contacted.
The deadline for submissions is September 30, 2019.
