Alberta Genealogical Society releases conference program and opens registration

The Alberta Genealogical Society has released the program schedule for its conference to be held April 26 to 28 this year in Edmonton. Topics include DNA, the British Home Children, military, publishing, and Quebec, Ontario, Irish, English, and Scottish research.

Although the full descriptions of the conference workshops and lectures have yet to be added, the titles give a good idea of what to expect.

Registration is expected to open today, January 15.

  1. Shirley Farrar says:

I am very impressed by what has been packed into this conference for a very low price!
Tours to archives and lunch included and a huge variety of speakers and events are offered!

This looks like a conference that is affordable and has something for many Canadian genealogists and heritage.
