60 Minutes — ‘Inside the genetic genealogy being used to solve crimes’

Last night’s 14-minute report on CBS’ 60 Minutes about how genetic genealogy has been used to help solve crimes included interviews with genetic genealogist CeCe Moore and Curtis Rogers, a retired octogenarian in Lake Worth, Florida who runs GEDmatch, the largest, public DNA database in the United States, out of this three-room bungalow.

Mr. Rogers had a great line about genealogy: ” Genealogy is a contact sport. You want to contact people.”
