Webinar today — Genealogical research in Quebec’s Gaspé

If you are looking for ancestors in Quebec’s Gaspé Basin and Gaspé Peninsula, you will want to attend the Québec Genealogical eSociety‘s first monthly webinar today, available for members and non-members.

Sandra Blanchette will deliver her presentation, History, Geography and Genealogy – Tracing the Boundaries, at 7:00 p.m. Eastern time.

Historical events and boundary changes through the centuries influence our research and define the repositories we use. Researching in the Gaspé Basin and the Gaspé Peninsula requires intense knowledge on these subjects in order to be efficient and reach our goals. There is more to it than we initially assume.

Ms. Blanchette is a professional genealogist who specializes in researching ancestors in the Gaspé Basin and the Gaspé Peninsula. She is the author of Gaspé Basin Roots How To Series, a comprehensive research guide for the Gaspé Peninsula. The first volume will be released in late 2018.

Register here to watch the webinar live. It likely will not be recorded.
