BBC Scotland creates online database of Scots who died during WWII

According to a news report today by BBC Scotland, the broadcaster has created an online database of 21, 740 of the 57,000 Scots who died during WWII to mark the 69th anniversary of Victory in Europe (VE) Day. You can search the database to find out where they came from, how old they were, which regiments they served, and where they have been laid to rest.

A link to the online database is available through the news report.

Thanks to Gordon MacMillan for the tip.
