The Qualicum Beach Family History Society will hold its third biannual international conference, Unlocking the Past 2018, on April 20 and 21, 2018 in Parksville, British Columbia, and early bird pricing begins tonight.
The two-day conference celebrates “our Canadian heritage with a focus on both our Canadian and American ancestors — ‘children of a common mother’ — and the ever-changing world of technology and genealogy, with three speakers, Thomas MacEntee, Lesley Anderson, and Tara Shymanski.”
Early bird registration will open at 5:00 p.m. (likely Pacific time), Wednesday, November 15. People are encouraged to register early since the 2016 conference filled up quickly.
