As part of the celebrations for Montreal’s 375th anniversary this year, CBC News has created Roots of Montreal, a series of short videos about some of the cultural communities that “have painted the city’s urban landscape into what it is today.”
The videos feature the Italian, Irish, Chinese, Mohawk, Syrian, Haitian, and French communities and their history in Montreal.
