Montreal lecture about Irish research and a 2016 trip to Ireland

Ancestry.ca’s Lesley Anderson will be the guest speaker at the Quebec Family History Society’s monthly meeting on Saturday, November 14.

Ms. Anderson’s presentation, beginning after the society’s annual general meeting, will be about Irish collections available on Ancestry and elsewhere on the internet and the documents available at the archives and local repositories that will be visited when she takes a group of genealogists on her Grand Tour of Ireland in April 2016.

The tour will include three days of research at the National Archives in Dublin and the Public Record Office in Belfast, plus a guided tour of many historical sites. She hopes you will join her.

More information about the tour, including the itinerary and how to reserve your spot, is available here.

The Quebec Family History Society meeting begins at 10:30 a.m. in the Briarwood Presbyterian Church Hall, 70 Beaconsfield Blvd., Beaconsfield.
